- Age - The average Russian developer is 38 years old in comparison with the average Indian developer who is 24 years old. As a result, the Russian develper tends to be more mature, experienced and reliable.
- Team size - India has an almost infinite pool of human resources and as a result the teams working on a project tend to be large. A large team tends to create more communication and management problems. The Russian teams tend to be smaller and made of highly qualified and experienced people.
- Attitude to authority - it is commonly recognized that Indian developers are very faithful in following precisely the specifications and requirements received from the client - even if they contain mistakes and contradictions. On the other hand, culturally Russians tend to be more critical and put resistance to requirements that they feel do not make sense. If you are not afraid to have someone take a critical view of your project, this would work very well in your favor.
- Pessimism - While the Indians tend to take an optimistic view of any project plans, the Russians tend to be more pessimistic. This would result in more realistic project goals and target dates.
