Michael was one of the founders of Relativity Technologies in 1997. As CTO at Relativity Technologies, Michael has invented and developed a large part of the technology that made the company a recognized leader in the area of application analysis and modernization. He was involved in successful legacy modernization projects, during which he developed new software and methodologies to resolve difficult problems.
Prior to Relativity, Michael was Director at Seer Technologies, and in the 80s he run his own consulting company in New York, serving companies in the financial industry. He has a Master in Science in Mathematics from the University of Bucharest. As a student, he won the First Prize of the National Mathematics Olympiad.
Mikhail (Misha) Bulyonkov is the head of the laboratory. He has Master Degree from the NSU with the thesis on iterative marking algorithm in transformational machine and PhD from Novosibirsk Computing Center with the thesis on polyvariant mixed computation and its application to the theory of compilation. The author of 61 published papers. Assistant Professor in the Novosibirsk State University, responsible for two courses: on the basics of programming and on the theory of programming. Vice-chair of the Chair of programming in NSU, two PhD and several dozens of MD theses were successfully defended under his supervision. Languages: solid experience - Algol-60, Pascal, Algol-68, C, Scheme, Modula-2, Object Pascal (Delphi), VB6, SQL; less experience - Fortran, PL/I, Basic, Prolog, C++, Java. Databases: Paradox, MS Access, DB/2, Oracle, MySQL. Hobbies: yoga (yes, he can stand on his head), jogging, roller skating, carving wood, cooking.
